Ratibida columnifera – Prairie Coneflower

Description

Wonderful native plant that is wide spread in the United States. Thin green leaves with stalks that support yellow daisy-like petals with a raised dark center. Flowers June through August. Drought tolerant to the point that it is easily overwatered.
