Fothergilla gardenii

Description

Slow growing rounded habit with showy white flowers in the spring, blue-green foliage in the summer turning to a vibrant red, orange and yellow in the fall. Resembles Hamamelis only smaller. Tolerates shade. This plant has really thrived in the landscape at Glacier Nursery, LLC, and warrants wider use in Montana.
